I didn't know
Our last conversation
Would be the last
Words you ever spoke to me.
I didn't know the last
time I saw you would
be the last time your eyes would see me
The last time I would ever see you smile.
I didn't know the last
words I said to you
would be the last words
I would ever say to you.
All the things I didn't know
that would be the last
...the last hug, last laugh, last thought, last ride, last kiss
...the last day, last night, last song
...the last fight, last make up, the last question and answer
...the last picture, last email, last meal, last touch
...the last time to look together at the world
and converse about this life & what we think it all means.

If I had known thay were to be the last
I would have said more, showed more, shared more, risked more, hugged more, laughed more
walked more and looked more with you.
