Admittedly, I had pretty much forgotten this page existed, even though I spent many long sleepless nights working on it, just glad to be channeling my energies in a positive way. I remember this was the first website builder I tried out, but I didn't like it. The site is terrible, the pages are basic, there are missing titles, formatting or making changes to anything was as painfull as navigating through it is cumbersome. But people did find their way here, to this virtual cemetery. There is, in fact, a place for us to go and remember the life of Aaron Lyle Ham. | Comments: | Many times over the last 8 years since Aaron was taken from us I have wished there was a grave to visit. It felt like we needed a place friends and family could visit and remember him, mourn, have closure, leave flowers, and reflect. I would like to take his son Logan there and talk about his father. We would leave flowers. But there is not. This makes me a little sad. Then today I came across this website I created for Aaron in 2009, AaronHam.Faithweb.com . It surprised me, I hadn't visited this site in years. The last blog entry I made was in 2012. As I click through the pages, photos, guest book, blog, poems, I welcomed the familiar pictures, enjoying the gift of these moments soothing my desire to see Aaron's face again. To stab/slice you 18 times is not self defence in my eyes. You never had a chance, I feel that you were just hanging on to him waiting for the next knife wound, trying to keep standing upright.
